Here are a few books I've read over the past 6 or so months that I recommend:
1. Things We Set on Fire by Deborah Reed. A tale of a mother and her 2 adult daughters. They have a dark family history and are brought back together after many years of estrangement as one of the daughters faces ... well, you'll have to read it and find out!
2. Snow White Must Die by Nelle Neuhaus. From a review of the book: "Powerful psychological tale … a story of greed, gossip, hatred & revenge, of lives ruined & extreme cruelty. …explores a large cast of characters with depth & compassion … No one is entirely evil or entirely good." I thought it was a great whodunit, had me wondering right up until the end.
3. The Expats by Chris Pavone. "With every stunning reveal, readers are drawn deeper into a tangled web." Husband & wife spy mystery - very engrossing.
